We are running a little late here on the Never Ending Backlog podcast! This week was planning on being launched around Halloween; due to the fact that it focuses on horror/survival/spooky games that have yet to be played from our Steam backlog. However, we'll just say we were late to the party!

Anyways, to kick off Horror Week on the Never Ending Backlog podcast, we are starting off by reviewing the indie, horror, survival FPS game, Monstrum, created by developer Team Junkfish.

What is Monstrum? According to Steam: Monstrum takes the traditional survival horror formula and remixes it completely with procedurally generated levels, permadeath, and AI driven predators, ensuring that nowhere on its derelict cargo ship is ever truly safe.

As you will quickly gather from listening to this week's podcast episodes, we don't traditionally play horror games, in fact we pretty much avoid them. However, it's fun to support indie developers whenever possible, and any reason to knock off another game on our backlog is a win for us!
