Welcome to the next episode of the Never Ending Backlog! Today we will be reviewing the horror top-view shooting game, Kalaban. This was one of the most challenging games we have played to date. Not because it was a difficult game, but because of the consistent crashes, and persistent death (tune in to learn about that part).

Overall, we knew this podcast idea was going to be challenging, and there would be days that it would be tough to remain positive; and Kalaban certainly proved that. Now, that doesn't mean Kalaban is entirely bad, there are some highlights, and it's ambitious; however, it seems a little too ambitious, and too rushed.

Anyways, here's a brief description of Kalaban:

The year is 1995, in an alternate history version of Finland. Bob, a hermit and an American who has moved to Finland, lives in a backwater cabin by himself. One night he is attacked by a hideous dog-like mutant. Now he must find out what is going on, and discover the reason behind the outbreak.

So let's help Bob survive the outbreak in Kalaban!
